Extra Large Leaf Fruit Bowl

This piece is spectacular! Very large measuring 21 1/5 inches long by 13 inches wide by 11 inches tall at the highest point. I hand sculpted this bowl using a soft white stoneware clay. I use a special technique to add texture and visual interest to my pieces. This piece is glazed in soft neutral shades of chestmut and creamy ivory. I hand applied clay leaves on the inside and the outside of the bowl. The leaves are glazed in a beautiful shade of olive which blends beautifully with the natural earth tones of the body. The piece was fired in an electric kiln to 2167 degrees. I signed the bottom before firing to authenticate that it is a one of a kind piece of art! A wonderful 9th Anniversary Gift!
